Nature Inspired iPhone & iPad App Icons

I’ve recently landed a project for a user interface design of an iPhone application. I can’t say too much about it at the moment, but have started the project off with some research on some nature inspired iPhone/iPad icons.

Coco Book

Beautiful Staple Zine & Booklet Inspiration

Recently I’ve had an idea of putting together a small staple-bind magazine (or “zine” as they’re commonly referred as). I want to give print design a bit of a bash.

I want to be able to hold something beautiful that I created in my own hands, and send them out to my followers as something to help inspire them with their work, so in this post I’ve collected a few examples of things I really like. I thought I’d share them with you, and hopefully get your advice, too.

New Minimalistic Movie Prints on Picmix Store

Picmix Store, for those that don’t know, is a part of the Circlebox Network (you can read more about that here). It sells limited edition (and rather awesome) prints.

Recently I have been taking a movie poster approach on the site (although the store is still open for just about any submission, movie related or not). In this post are a few of my favourite minimalistic movie prints that we’re currently selling; and there are a bunch more on their way!
