Earlier on today I was looking for an iPhone sketching pad to sketch my user interface ideas and wireframes on. After searching I found some great ones, but none of which were in the UK, and due to a current project I have on I can’t wait 2-3 weeks for them to turn up. I [...]

by Callum Chapman on May 12, 2010 in Resources
Today we have a collection of five colourful bokeh textures, which of course are free to download and use in your personal and commercial work. They’re great to use to add a subtle touch of texture to your work, or to use as website/header backgrounds.
8 Free Scribbly Hand-Drawn Textures
by Callum Chapman on March 5, 2010 in Resources
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any textures, but I’ve been hard at work making some recently, mainly for a secret project that I am working on with the great Benjamin Reid (Nouveller). Stay tuned for more information on that in the coming weeks and months!
Anyway, this pack, which I decided to post here at Circlebox Blog, includes eight high-resolution textures which were hand-drawn using various colored pens on card. They are completely free of charge, and can be used in both personal and commercial projects!
A Collection of 975+ Fresh Social Media Icons
by Callum Chapman on February 16, 2010 in Resources, Round-Ups
We all love social media websites such as Twitter, Facebook, Digg and StumbleUpon, and when used correctly they most definitely are one of the best ways to promote the content on your website. To promote the content though, it’s not as simple as simply retweeting your own posts – sure, that can help, but the real joy of it is when everybody joins in! From just one tweet, you could generate hundreds or even thousands of others, and the same goes for Facebook, Digg and StumbleUpon.
One of the best ways to get your websites audience to interact with your site and help promote it using social media is to include links or icons at the bottom of your content-filled pages, such as posts. This post shares with you eleven fresh and modern social media icon packs, with a total of over 900 individual icons!
