New T-Shirt Design on Threadless – “A Designers Life”

As a little break from writing, I recently produced a design that is more or less suitable for everything. Originally thinking it were going to be used for a poster, I ended up submitting it as a t-shirt design on the popular Threadless.com.

With the submission going through the administration list reasonably quickly (overnight!), it is now live for scoring. This is where you guys come in! For my t-shirt to go into production it needs as many good votes as possible. It only takes a few minutes to register to Threadless and hit the 5* button!

The T-Shirt

A Designers Life - Threadless T-shirts, Nude No More

The design is called “A Designers Life” for one simple reason: every “icon” featured on the t-shirt is a product that is commonly use in the everyday life of a designer. To find out what items to include in the design, I simply tweeted the question: “What products do you use most in your everyday life as a designer?”. The answers varied, from computers to gadgets, from coffee to games consoles, so that’s what I have included!

What you need to do…
  • Complete the following tasks within the next 7 days (voting closes in one week).
  • Register at Threadless.com.
  • Hit the 5* button on this page.
  • Share the link via Twitter, Facebook and Email.
What will you get from it?

As I’m sure you all know, the reward of getting a t-shirt design accepted on Threadless.com is pretty huge; a $2,000 cash price and a $500 gift voucher to spend on their products – so if the design gets enough votes, the reward for me is pretty impressive!

Receiving such a great reward will allow me me and my Fiancée to buy some nice furniture for our first flat together, free up some time to get some excellent posts written for the blog (which I’m struggling to do at the moment with all the work I have been completing for other blogs), and will also give me the opportunity to run some great giveaways/competitions here at Circlebox Blog, including a few t-shirt giveaways, so you guys will benefit, too! Oh, and you’ll be able to purchase the t-shirt!

These votes will be very much appreciated, so please leave a comment on either the T-Shirts Threadless page or this page so I can say a huge thanks!

I love the design, Callum. I personally think it looks better as a t-shirt then a poster. I’ll be the first to purchase :)
